I first met The Voice’s Nathan Isaac at Fashion Week and months later at an event for THE ICONIC and one thing was apparent - he is a star! 

The child of two mums, Nathan was into sport before he started dancing at the age of 13 and has performed with the likes of Katy Perry.

Nathan Isaac sat with BOY! Incognito and answered our Lucky 8 questions.

 1. What’s your favourite time of day? 

My favourite time of the day would have to be showering in the morning. It gives me an opportunity to reflect and think about what’s next for me but also where I do my best live performances. 🌅

 2. What is your proudest moment to date?  

Being brave enough to step out of my comfort zone to audition for THE VOICE. I have never taken myself seriously as a singer, so to put myself out there on national television is most definitely one of my proudest moments. 💯

3. What is one vice you want to give up?

I probably need to give up smoking, it's a bit of a dirty habit -  it also affects my pipes and also my wallet. 🚬

 4. What is a vice you don’t want to give up?  

One thing I wouldn’t give up is always striving to do and be the best. Although it sounds like something that’s positive it can really take a toll on my mentality, hence the fresh packet of cigarettes every few days. ⚡️

 5. When did you discover music? 

I discovered music from such a young age and I was always obsessed. My parents only played a certain type of genre and it wasn’t until I was around 10 that I started my love/hate relationship with Limewire. 🦠

From there on out it was mostly every genre from decades starting from the 70’s. 🕺

 6. Where do you find inspiration? 

I find inspiration from everywhere. Every little thing can inspire something in me. Whether it's a person, a colour, music, art etc. Anything that makes me feel or see something is what ignites me. 🔥👀

 7. What’s a piece of advice you would give your younger self? 

Don’t be so afraid, you can literally do everything you put your mind to. Don’t be your own worst enemy.

8. What is something that people would be surprised to know about you?  

People think I’m so serious with no personality or just vain, but I’m honestly such a child. All the time. One of my few favourite things to do is probably talking in any other accent other than Australian but my go-to is to dance like a white girl up in an RnB club with a cheeky vodka soda and lime all by herself just having a good time. I just need to know my audience before I unleash every part of my Gemini mind on people. 🧠✨
